Invitation to the International Championship of the Kiełczew Common Pigeon Loft

Regulations

The championship is open to anyone (except for the organizer) who delivers their pigeons to the International Common Loft Kiełczew within the required time frame, along with ownership cards and pedigrees.

Eligibility for MWG 2025:

Anyone may participate in the MWG 2025 championship if they:

  • Have pigeons from the 2025 breeding season with FCI rings or rings from Polish or international pigeon breeders’ clubs.

  • Make an advance payment (entrance fee) of 200 PLN or 50 EUR per pigeon within 14 days from the day of registration.

  • Each participant receives a receipt or VAT invoice.

  • If the deposit is paid but the pigeons are not delivered, the payment will not be refunded.

  • Each participant can submit any number of pigeons. A free entry is given for every 5 pigeons submitted.

  • Upon delivering pigeons, the participant must provide the pigeons' ownership cards, pedigrees, and a full postal address along with a phone number (this helps avoid contact issues later).

  • The fee for each pigeon is 600 PLN or 150 EUR (gross).

  • The deadline for pigeon delivery is from March 14 to May 25, 2025.

  • After May 25, pigeons will NOT be accepted.

  • Pigeons must be vaccinated against Paramyxovirus before sending. Do not vaccinate against pox; this vaccination will be done by the organizer.

  • Pigeons should be 40–45 days old upon delivery.

  • Electronic rings will be assigned to the pigeons upon arrival at the loft.

  • If a pigeon goes missing before the training flights, the breeder can replace it free of charge.

  • Pigeons delivered to the loft will be under the organizer’s supervision during the training and competition phases.

  • The organizer assumes responsibility for the care of the pigeons, including: accommodation in the loft, training and competition flights according to the rules, food, vitamins, grit, vaccinations, veterinary care by the Coba company, and maintenance of records for the championship published on the website.

  • Pigeons in poor health, showing signs of illness, or suspected of being ill will be sent back to their owner at their expense.

  • In case of an avian flu pandemic or similar emergency, the prize pool will carry over to the next edition.

  • Flights will be organized using the organizer’s private transport and training vehicle.
